Recruitment and Retention
At the EPIC Inventory Summit in January 2022, the EPIC Board of Directors elected to form a committee tasked with addressing the recruitment and retention crisis impacting equine veterinary medicine. The committee started brainstorming on how to engage the EPIC network and its unique attributes to revitalize the stream of veterinarians into equine practice. The committee aims to provide the resources necessary to ensure quality, real-world experience accessible to students through collaboration with equine practices and industry partners.
